Youth Reach
“Reaching kids from The Bay, to the Valley and in Mexico”

AFTERSCHOOL TUTOR (Tuesdays-Fridays)

Provide after school tutoring to help and develop good study habits. Encourage students to stay engaged in their studies and to excel. After completion of 8th grade students have the opportunity to advance to high school with scholarship help. The only way to receive scholarship help is due to financial hardship and they must maintain a good grade point average. Tutoring will help to enforce good studying skills and habits on a daily and weekly basis. The tutoring program is being developed to help those kids who have fallen behind in school and helping them to catch up on school work for them to be able to return back to school.

ATHLETICS (Monday-Friday)

Teaching kids discipline through group participation. Boxing every Tuesday and Thursdays. Field Sports on Mondays and Wednesdays. In order to participate in the Boxing program, they must maintain good grades in school.

This weekly meeting serves the important purpose of the Teen Center and that is to gather kids together for games, mixers, skits, and the sharing of a simple message about God’s love.

An opportunity for parents and their children to take a break from their busy week and enjoy a family event together. Movies for the whole family to enjoy including snacks.

Special events for the whole family to include special holiday celebrations and quarterly Open House Family event. These events are an opportunity for parents to come and learn what the YouthReach Program is all about.

To build relationship within the community and partner with schools, churches to advocate for special programs for kids. Be involved in community held events for exposure in the community. Once a month even to serve the Seniors in the community.

Our goal is to effectively help them better deal with life's tough situations at home, at school, in the world of work, and in the future as healthier people. Helping kids to learn a trade that will give them opportunities to secure future employment (Electrician, Plumbing, Contract, Homemaker)

We are developing a program that will allow for Mission, High School, or College groups to come and serve in a week long mission trip. The mission will focus on construction projects: Helping with much needed repair work on family homes (installing windows, doors, plumbing projects), Sports Camp, Bible club for kids, and help with the ongoing weekly YouthReach program. Future projects include medical mission to aid in healthcare and health fair for the community.

A dual purpose program that will allow church groups to participate and serve in a camp/mission capacity. Not only will students have an opportunity to participate in a camp like atmosphere but at the same time they will serve with the YouthReach program.
